The Signal would rather be right than fast, and it tries hard to be both. Here's how corrections and removal requests work.
Game results come from official box scores as reported by the schools. Rankings, attendance figures, and other numbers are credited in each piece to the organization that published them. If a school's reported score is wrong at the source, ours will be too — and we'll fix ours as soon as anyone points it out, whether or not the source does.
Email wrap@trianglesignal.com with the page and what's wrong. The web version gets corrected quickly — usually the same day — and meaningful corrections are noted on the page. Email editions that already went out can't be recalled, so the web page is always the corrected record.
The Signal covers high school sports, which means it prints the names of student-athletes as they appear in public box scores. If you're a parent, guardian, school official, or the athlete yourself and want a name removed from our pages, email wrap@trianglesignal.com — it comes down promptly, no questions asked and no explanation needed.
